Tracking the long-term safety and effectiveness of biologic, biosimilar and targeted treatment for juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA).
Bringing together two long-running studies; the BSPAR Etanercept study (established in 2004) and Versus Arthritis BCRD (established in 2010), the UK JIA Register has evolved into a comprehensive national platform for paediatric rheumatology research. The register is run by an expert team from the Versus Arthritis Centre for Epidemiology Unit at the University of Manchester.
Currently children and young people starting tofacitinib remain a priority group for recruitment. There is funding available for these registrations.
